For the Love of Trees was founded in 2014 inspired by the birth of my daughter.

The name says it all, we love trees and love working with them. My name is Nate Buckley, and I have been doing tree work since the 2006 infamous ‘October Surprise’ storm where we, WNY, lost countless trees. Since then, I have learned a great deal about trees and the care that they need. I am a Certified Arborist and strongly believe in preserving and planting trees. We take our work very seriously—stressing safety and best practices for both your trees and our workers. We use a combination of climbing and bucket trucks to access trees. When pruning trees, we never use spikes or other harmful methods of tree entry. We attempt to minimize our carbon footprint and use manual methods, wherever possible. We are transitioning into a worker-cooperative model where we empower all of our members and practice democracy in the workplace. We are thankful to serve WNY for the people and the trees in their yards are truly exceptional.
